AU GENERAL MEETING
Our annual schedule:
Jan / Apr / Jul / Oct: Feed your mind! Educational presentation.
Feb / May / Aug / Nov: Arts Showcase! Movie / Music / Poetry / etc.
Mar / Jun / Sep / Dec: Equinox/Solstice Party Month! Come down and have some fun with fellow atheists!
All meetings followed by a lunch, where you can come and enjoy good food and good conversation, and usually even speak to the guest presenter one-on-one! After the lunch, we host our ever-popular "Sound-OFF!" open-mike where you can listen (or even participate yourself!) to hear what our members think about anything and everything.
Our board meets at CFI-Los Angeles before the General meeting at 10:15 a.m. in the 1st floor conference room to provide our monthly report to the membership. Members are invited to bring any issues or concerns to the board at that time.

AU Church-State Committee
This Committee focuses on monitoring, reporting, and organizing actions on First Amendment church-state violations in southern California.
AU Newsletter Editorial Committee
This Committee assists the AU Newsletter Editor in providing input, articles, and other publication assistance in producing AU's monthly newsletter, Rational Alternative.
AU Young Atheists Interest Group
Our young adults group! Meets every 3rd Sunday, 3 p.m., Cat 'N' Fiddle, 6530 West Sunset Blvd.
Atheist Families Interest Group
This Interest Group focuses on the needs and problems that atheist families deal with in raising their children in today's religion-saturated world; and brainstorms ideas and projects that Atheists United can support for them.
AU Evangelical Interest Group
Have issues with Christian Evangelicals? Want to learn more about them? Have stories to share? This Interest Group is dedicated to sharing and discussing experiences with Christian Evangelics.
AU General Meeting Program Committee
This committee is charged with arranging for the monthly program that Atheists United hosts at Center for Inquiry / West in Hollywood every 4th Sunday of the month.
AU Merchandising Committee
This committee identifies books, videos, and other merchandise of interest to atheists and makes recommendations on materials that Atheists United offers for sale on-line and at our Merchandise table at our general meeting at Center for Inquiry / West.
AU Military Interest Group
This Interest Group focuses on atheist and First Amendment issues encountered by atheist servicemembers in the US Armed Forces; and acts as a liaison group to the Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. Servicemembers, spouses and vets are invited to join this Interest Group.
AU Science Fiction Interest Group
This Interest Group discusses everything Sci-Fi, from books and movies to television series and video games! Like, Get Involved, Dude!
AU Scientology Interest Group
This Interest Group discusses everything around L. Ron Hubbard's cult of Dianetics and Scientology - which just happens to own most of the buildings in Hollywood around Center for Inquiry/West!
AU Voices of Reason Choral Group
This Interest Group hosts the Voices of Reason, Atheists United's own choral group. New singers welcome!
AU Website Committee
This committee focuses on maintenance and development of AU's website at AtheistsUnited.org.
Atheists for KPFK Interest Group
This Interest Group is dedicated to the restoration of atheist-oriented programming on the programming schedule of Pacifica radio station KPFK (FM 90.7) out of Los Angeles, California.
