Photos: Atheist Street Pirate Party Delivers More Fun With 300+ Religious Signs

On April 28, 2024, the Atheist Street Pirates (a program of Atheists United) hosted an Art Exhibit & Party near Downtown LA to highlight over 2,000 illegal religious signs they’ve removed from public land over the past two years. The event drew almost 100 guests and raised over $5,000 for Atheist United programs!

Attendees were treated to pirate-themed food and drinks, new art installations made with religious signage found hung illegally on public property.

Guests included members of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an LA-based drag troupe that uses blasphemy to raise awareness for human rights issues.
