Since 2000, California Interfaith Power & Light (CIPL) is a statewide network of over 750 congregations of all faiths and none which responds to the environmental crisis as a moral issue.

Atheists United—the only nonreligous congregation in the network—participates because among nonreligious Americans: ~90% say the Earth is getting warmer because of human activity. (Pew Research).

We participate in legislative strategy meetings and notify our email list about grassroots actions when they arise.
