SELECT DATE & RESERVE THEATER

  • Check CFI building Google Calendar for an open week/weekend

    • 4th and 5th weekends are usually best

  • Select days/times people can drop-off donated items

    • Ideally the few days just before the sale

    • SMART Recovery LA uses the theater Tuesday evenings so we recommend (Wednesday-Friday 3-8 PM)

  • Once selected, email CFI staff to reserve the theater

    • Don’t forget to also reserve days you plan to collect items

    • Make sure event makes it on CFI’s Google Calendar

CREATE VOLUNTEER SIGNUP

  • Recommended: Signup genius 

  • Alternative Option: Build into ticketing website (Humanatix, etc.)

  • Add volunteer signup link to event listings and promotions

  • Create event pages (past examples below) that include promo flyer, event details, volunteer details, donations details, and more.
